Mulcaster MD has resurfaced with a new PR operation

The team behind food and drink PR agency Mulcaster, which went into voluntary liquidation last year, has relaunched under a new name.
It has emerged that Mulcaster founder Tan Harrington has now launched Parsons Green Communications after winding down Mulcaster due to tough market conditions, late client payments, and a failed attempt to merge the firm.
But creditors, who it is understood are owed more than £500,000, are furious at Harrington’s decision to relaunch under a new name.
One creditor who claims to be owed money by Mulcaster told PRWeek: ‘It’s not good to wind up one company and then start trading in the same office with the same phone number – what message does that give to the creditors owed money?’
Harrington said liquidators Numerica were handling the details of the liquidation.
‘We used to pay all our creditors bang on the button, but times got longer as clients paid later, so we paid as many creditors as we could pay right up to the limit,’ added Harrington.
