Paris: Nissan Europe has hired Frédérique Le Grevès as its PR chief to succeed former vice-president of communications Denis Berthu.
Le Grevès joins from US automotive parts firm Delphi, where she has held various PR posts, most recently regional comms director across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Berthu quit after 18 months in the role to launch his own consultancy, BJ2, which handles financial, crisis and environmental comms, and provides PR auditing services.
Former Lafarge director of comms Berthu joined Nissan in September 2001, ending the group’s year-long search for a head of PR (PRWeek, 21 September 2001).
Le Grevès – based in Paris – will be responsible for all product, internal and corporate communications across Nissan’s European operations, heading a team of around 15.
