LOBBYING: Rural lobby group The Countryside Alliance has appointed former Imperial Cancer Research Fund media relations head Bryher Golding-Barret as its south and central England media relations manager. Golding-Barret left the charity last year when it merged with The Cancer Research Campaign to become Cancer Research UK.
