Agency of Year 2002 accolade goes to Mother

LONDON - Mother has been named Creative Agency of the Year in Marketing's Agency 2002. The award, now in its second year, recognises creativity, effectiveness, new business wins and financial health, and reflects Mother's sparkling past 12 months.
Scooping the £41m Orange account was the froth on the champagne of Mother's year, which saw it walk off with £81m of new business including UKTV and UK Gold, Coca-Cola's Burn energy drink, Siemens, Red Letter Days and Comic Relief.
This year clients such as Egg and Emap attributed sales increases to the effectiveness of Mother's campaigns.
Agency 2002 recognised excellence in all marketing disciplines. For media, the winner is Naked; for below the line, TBWA\GGT Direct; for design, Williams Murray Hamm; for PR, The RED Consultancy; for new media, Agency Republic; for market research, Ipsos UK; for telemarketing, BeCogent; for field marketing, FDS; and for customer publishing, John Brown Citrus.
