DIARY: Pitcher belies the title of his book with plans for stylish launch party
PR Week UK, Friday, 08 November 2002, 12:00am,
Who says 'spin is dead'? George Pitcher's book on that topic should be titled: 'The Death of Spin: Apart from When I'm Around'.
Pitcher has briefed us on plans for his book launch, at Politico's this Wednesday.
He plans a 'one-minute, Hamlet-style (but with fewer murders)' reading from his book, before retiring to the Garrick where guests will be served - Jeffrey Archer style - shepherd's pie and Krug.
If this turns out to be factually incorrect, you know who to blame. Spin is far from dead in Pitcher's world.
