Golin/Harris hires Wells as corp head in London division
LYNNE ROBERTS, PR Week UK, Friday, 01 November 2002, 12:00am,
Golin/Harris International has appointed David Wells as head of its corporate team in London.
Reporting to MD Barry Leggetter, Wells will head the four-strong division, taking on responsibility for clients including Samsung, Coors Brewers and British Airways World Cargo.
He takes over the day-to-day running of the corporate team from Leggetter, who was deputy managing director prior to his appointment as MD in July this year, and who retains overall responsibility for the division.
According to Wells, there are no immediate plans for further recruitment or restructuring. He said his immediate aims are to take care of the existing team and to work on bringing in new business.
Wells was formerly an associate director at Counsel PR, a subsidiary of the Huntsworth Group.
