The event is based on a forthcoming book of the same title by Luther Pendragon co-founder George Pitcher, who is among four confirmed speakers for the event.
Also speaking are David Lammy MP, the New Statesman's John Lloyd and The Daily Mirror's Paul Routledge.
The theme of Pitcher's book is that there is now a 'post spin culture' whereby the Government has realised issues must be carried through in a 'managed debate' rather than a previous tactic of concentrating on presentation.
Pitcher said the watershed moment was the 'humiliation' of Tony Blair by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad during the Afghanistan conflict. 'This showed that presentation was not enough,' he said.
The shortened version of the book with an emphasis on political PR has now been published by Demos ahead of the late October launch of the full version.
