Firefly picked for Global Continuity rolling PR contract
PR Week UK, Friday, 01 March 2002, 12:00am,
Firefly has been handed the PR account for software house Global Continuity after a three-way pitch.
The agency's remit will be to raise the profile of the company, initially in Europe and then extending to the US and other key markets worldwide.
The five-strong team will be headed by director Mark Mellor, and group account director Robin Wilson. The team will report to Jane Windsor, the newly appointed head of global communications for Global Continuity.
Global Continuity's flagship product is NeverFail, which seeks to achieve 'zero downtime and zero interruption' to computer systems.
The PR campaign will focus on the twin aims of raising the profile of the company and of NeverFail. Mellor said: 'It will mainly be B2B, but we will also focus on financial services and governments.'
