The new agency will now operate from M&N's office in King's Cross, London, with a team of 16.

It comes two years after the launch of Place PR, which consisted of a team of four, and 18 years after M&N Communications was established.

M&N Place will be led by directors Martin and Nicky Winch, who co-founded M&N Communications, and Place PR founders Ben Ruse and Kate Hart (nee Fisher). Martin Winch will also act as CEO of the new agency.

Ruse, a former director at London Communications Agency, said that the new agency would combine M&N's experience, especially in property and regeneration, with Place PR's work in transport and destination PR.

He added: 'At Place PR we got to the stage where we wanted to grow quicker than we thought we might be able to organically so this made perfect sense. We're ambitious to grow this agency and will split our focus between the UK and our office in Abu Dhabi [recently set up by M&N Communications]. Among the main areas of growth will be development and regeneration.'
