Yahoo!'s B2B division, Enterprise Services, has awarded technology
PR firm Mantra its pan-European PR remit.
Mantra adds the brief to its existing consumer PR account with Yahoo!
Europe, which was won in December last year (PRWeek, 8 December
2000).
The agency will run a PR campaign covering the UK, France, Germany,
Spain, Italy and the Nordic countries.
Mantra associate George Coleman heads a six-strong account team,
reporting to Yahoo! Enterprises Services head of European PR and
marketing Amy Werner.
The account will be run from Mantra's London office, but Coleman said
they were considering appointing affiliate agencies in Europe to help
with the account next year.
The B2B arm of Yahoo! Europe, which launched in the UK last June, has
not employed an external PR agency before.
