McDowall links up with Text founder for creative shop
Senior industry figures linked up this week for the launch of a
company offering commercial consultancy to firms within the creative
services sector.
The Pembridge Partnership describes itself as a 'business accelerator'
that targets creative services firms (CSFs) in PR, design and
marketing.
The founders include former PRCA director-general Chris McDowall and
co-founder of Text 100, Mark Adams. Other partners are accountant Otto
Stevens, and former Dell marketing director David Prais.
Pembridge plans to advise CSFs on HR, management and comms issue, to
provide mentors for agency staff and to invest in minority stakes in
CSFs.
Adams claimed: 'I've been in PR for 18 years and have seen a lot of
change in creative services. There is a market for combining PR with
other activities.'
