AAT: seeking public affairs support
The AAT, formerly known as the Association of Accounting Technicians, has launched a pitch process to seek a lobbying firm. The process may see more than one public affairs agency appointed.
The AAT is the professional body that provides accountancy and finance qualifications.
AAT PR manager Nicky Burke said: ‘We are reviewing our public affairs at the present, so a few people have submitted their credentials. We’re moving to a campaign-based way of working, focusing on education and accountancy.
‘The campaign way of working will mean we can work with different agencies on different issues.’
The AAT is looking to get an agency in place by the end of September. Burke did not reveal the fees that are available.
The AAT does not currently use a public affairs agency, although it does work with Linstock Communications and Markettiers4dc for PR activities.
