The Government is set to launch the first of its two new frameworks next week. The first framework, called Creative Content, Delivery, Execution and Related Services, is expected to go online in the coming days with awards expected in October.
Blackpool Council head of comms Suzanne Halliwell has taken voluntary redundancy after two-and-a-half years. Halliwell, whose position will cease to exist when she leaves, said: 'Like everyone who has ever worked in Blackpool there will always be a special place in my heart for the town, but for me the time was right to move on and I will leave at the end of the month to explore new ventures.'
Millstream, a company that manages the online procurement portal for the Scottish government, has brought in The BIG Partnership to promote its work. The agency will work on b2b engagement, as well as looking to raise the profile of the firm locally, nationally and internationally. The firm also manages similar websites for the Norwegian and Irish governments.
Alex Aiken, director of comms and strategy at Westminster City Council, has written about public authorities in the post-Olympics world in this week's public sector column. To read it, go to prweek.com/uk and click on opinion.
