BBC man Tim Weber joins A&R Edelman

Tim Weber, the former business and technology editor for BBC News Interactive, joined Edelman's boutique technology operation A&R Edelman as a director this week.

Based in the London office, he will provide senior media, social media and content counsel to clients.

Rishi Bhattacharya, managing director, A&R Edelman, said: 'Tim has a tremendous journalistic pedigree, developed during many years and in numerous roles at the BBC.'

During his time at the BBC, Weber helped to launch the BBC's website in 1997.
