The Communications Store has hired a fashion blogger as its dedicated social media consultant.

Emily Johnston, founder and editor of fashion and style blog Fashion Foie Gras, has been brought in to work across the agency to advise on strategy, including best channel selection and how to devise engaging content.

Having run the website for three years, the blogger, who designed a handbag in collaboration with accessories brand Coach and contributes to women’s magazines, will now ‘share her extensive knowledge of effective blogger relations and engaging content with clients and the wider team’.

Nasima Hussain, brands director at The Communications Store, said: ‘Conversations and the seeking of opinions drive so many purchase decisions. We need to ensure we are providing our clients with the very best counsel on how to engage effectively in such conversations.'
