Cubitt Consulting has brought in two new directors. Gareth David joins the agency after 19 years at College Hill, while Fleishman-Hillard's former head of financial services Alan O'Sullivan has joined to grow the agency's retail operation.

Both are former business journalists, David for the The Times, The Observer and The Sunday Times, and O'Sullivan for the Daily Mail Group, BBC, Sky and Channel 4.

Bishopsgate Communications has hired Anna Michniewicz to work in its natural resources team. She has previously worked in equity research for natural resources brokers including Ambrian, Canaccord Adams and Fox-Davies Capital. Michniewicz joins as an account manager. The agency has also hired Jade Yap as an account executive.

Legal & General has appointed Kimberley Robinson as PR manager. She joins from Redleaf Polhill, where she was a director. Robinson will lead retail media relations for Legal & General Investments.

MHP has recruited Channel 4 News journalist Emma Thelwell as a senior account manager. She previous worked as a reporter on Channel 4 News' FactCheck and as a City reporter at The Daily Telegraph.
