Healthcare: The Week in Healthcare - Fishburn wins charity brief

The Health Foundation has brought in Fishburn Hedges to review and update the charity's corporate messaging.
The move follows a major rebranding exercise by the charity in 2010, and involves 'refreshing its corporate narrative', according to Fishburn Hedges' head of health Ayesha Bharmal.
Creative Leap, the strategic branding and comms specialist, has appointed GSK's Tim Brooks. The pharma firm's former consumer healthcare marketing director joins as a non-executive director, with responsibility for strategy development as well as supporting client relationships.
Steve Bates has been named CEO of the BioIndustry Association. Bates was senior director, external affairs and market access, at Genzyme UK and Ireland, during which time he was a member of the BIA's comms advisory committee and worked on the establishment of the Office for Life Science.
CCD PR, the health, beauty and nutrition agency, has recruited Sharan Sunner as senior account executive to work across its growing nutrition and wellbeing teams. Sunner previously worked as a freelance PRO.
