Staff changes at Edelman.
Edelman has appointed Joanna Birdsey as senior account manager from FTI Consulting. She will be working on infectious diseases and diabetes. Also joining as an account manager is Alex Bailey, who formerly developed corporate and consumer nutrition-focused campaigns for dairy exporter Fonterra. Bailey will work on oncology and autoimmune disease areas.
The Scott Partnership has been called in by tech company Microsaic systems, which develops and markets next generation mass spectrometry instruments. The brief is to raise awareness and strengthen its position in the marketplace.
Open Road is holding a breakfast panel discussion entitled 'Implementing Public Health Reforms in England'
on 10 July at the Cinnamon Club, Westminster. The panel includes Professor John Newton, acting chief knowledge officer at Public Health England; Stephen Dorrell MP, chair of the health select committee; and Alan Maryon-Davis, editor of Public Health Today.
