Newedge, the global multi-asset brokerage firm, has appointed Nicole Wesch as its London-based global head of media and PR.
She joins from Natixis Global Asset Management in London, where she oversaw PR activities in Europe, Middle East and North Africa and Asia. Before that, she headed the Asia-Pacific PR team at Dow Jones Indexes in Singapore.
Terry Graunke, an equity investment specialist, is joining the board of Huntsworth in a non-executive role. The co-founder of Lake Capital Management will become a non-executive director from next week. Meanwhile, Huntsworth Group revenues grew 3.8 per cent during Q1 of 2012, according to an interim management statement released last week.
Sophie Moate has joined City agency Powerscourt as a consultant in the agency's TMT team. She was previously at FTI Consulting, where she was an associate vice-president.
Eden Research, the agrochemical company, has brought in Walbrook PR as its financial PR adviser. The agency will advise on comms with the financial media, research analysts and small-cap investor groups.
Diamond Circle Capital, the UK-listed diamond investment fund, has called in Redleaf Polhill to handle its investor comms.
