Citigate wins data recovery firm Kroll Ontrack account

Kroll Ontrack has hired Citigate after a competitive pitch to handle comms for its legal technologies and data recovery businesses in the UK. The firm specialises in the recovery of deleted, corrupt, missing or inaccessible data and is a subsidiary of risk mitigation and security firm Altegrity.

A seven-strong Citigate team will provide a press office service and help the firm build its UK profile in the legal, business and technology press.

Judith Massey, head of Citigate’s corporate technology practice, will lead the account.

Citigate had previously worked on the legal technologies business, before its UK account was absorbed into a global brief. The firm most recently used tech specialist Text 100 in the UK and continues to use the agency in a number of other regions.
