Octopus Group appoints Alexia Sciplino from Publicasity

Alexia Sciplino will be responsible for developing Octopus Group's positioning, product innovations and further integrating the group's services. She will work closely with agency CEO Sandy Purewal.  

Sciplino said: ‘I'm looking forward to helping the group maintain this momentum; our focus will be on innovation and on integration across our insight, comms and marketing services.’

Sciplino will also be responsible for bringing new products to market on behalf of Octopus Group’s companies – Octopus Communications, Rocket and Loudhouse.

Sciplino was formerly head of new business and marketing at Publicasity, before which she worked at Weber Shandwick, where she was focused on business development, PR and marketing activities.

Purewal added: ‘Alexia's a great addition to our senior team and brings fantastic experience.

‘Her joining is part of a broader strategy to extend communications beyond its traditional domain. We're working on some exciting plans and Alexia will have a key role to play in those.’
