Waggener Edstrom snaps up Edelman's head of tech Cairbre Sugrue

He leaves on 20 April and starts at Waggener Edstrom on 21 May. He will report to the agency’s EMEA EVP and GM Chris Talago.

Sugrue fills the role left vacant by Shaun Wooton who left the agency at the end of last year after eight years with the firm.

Before joining Edelman to head up its tech practice in September 2009, Sugrue was Senior Director Corporate Communications at Oracle for four years. Other roles include being an associate director at Weber Shandwick.
