INTERNATIONAL: Euro RSCG buys its Dubai affiliate firm Bain Comms
DUBAI: Euro RSCG has bought its long-term Dubai-based affiliate
Bain Communications.
The new company will be called Bain Euro RSCG and will be run by Ian
Bain, who set up the business 20 years ago.
Leenderk Bikker, Euro RSCG corporate communications chief executive,
said: 'Bain Communications has set the standards in the Middle East for
two decades and this acquisition forms part of our strategy to greatly
expand our international PR operations.'
Bain has clients including BAE Systems, Cyprus Airways, General Motors
and Samsung Electronics.
The 18-strong firm recently appointed Fiona Noble as MD (PRWeek, 13
April). She joined from London-based firm Biss Lancaster Euro RSCG.
Euro RSCG comprises 221 agencies located in 75 countries throughout
Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
The network is the largest unit of Havas Advertising, the world's fifth
biggest communications group.
