Northern Profile nets recruitment firm's UK account

Recruitment firm Martin Ward Anderson has retained Northern Profile for

its UK B2B public relations work.

The pounds 30m turnover company appointed NP after a three-way pitch.

Part of the agency's brief is to step up MWA's PR support across the

UK.

MWA has previously employed some regional PR support, but wanted a

national agency with regional offices.

The agency will also support MWA's expansion, reporting to its joint

managing directors Jon Anderson and Richard Wright.

MWA is to open an Amsterdam office in the next three months and NP has

partnered with a Dutch agency to handle the launch.

NP managing director Nick Brown said: 'MWA is looking to double its

business in the next two-to-three years and is looking at a possible

flotation.

It is planning to open three international offices over the next year,

of which the Amsterdam office will be the first.'

The win coincides with NP's plans to launch in Southwark, London, on 1

July, which will also see the agency undergo a rebrand and

name-change.

The office will add to the consultancy's bases in Newcastle, where it

first launched, Leeds and Manchester.
