Time to Change, a programme run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness to improve public attitudes and behaviour towards mental health, has appointed Jenni Regan as senior media adviser and Hayley Richardson as senior media officer.
The Marine Society & Sea Cadets is launching an online digital magazine for sea cadets, promoting new courses to acquire skills, plus interviews, film previews and short films about special days out.
Media Trust has joined forces with Promax UK for the second year running to launch the Promax Charity Challenge 2012. Charities in the UK with national or international beneficiaries will be given the chance to have a short film made for them by industry specialists. To enter, charities will need to submit a brief for a media campaign they are planning to run during 2013.
The British Red Cross has launched a first-aid app to help smartphone users across the world. The app has easy-to-understand advice on 18 everyday first-aid scenarios, as well as tips on how to prepare for emergencies, from severe winter weather to road traffic accidents.
National Bike Week (16-24 June 2012), the UK's biggest mass participation cycling event with more than 420,000 riders taking part in 2011, is using Forster for its PR.
