The series, called 'Heels' and created by The Makers Entertainment, will be streamed exclusively on www.sofeminine.co.uk for the next five weeks.

It centres on the character Alice Valois, a young fashion editor at Shine magazine, and her antagonistic relationship with Trisha Barton, who has joined the magazine as the editor-in-chief.

The seven episodes feature Longchamp's new collection of bags, and do not show the actors faces, instead detailing the story by following the characters' shoes and feet.

Marie-Sabine Leclercq, international communications director for Longchamp, said: "This collaboration is the ideal way for the brand to communicate its collection throughout the fashion world."

This month, luxury watch brand Cartier released a short film in collaboration with the French band Air, called 'Painted Love'.
