Hope&Glory: Carr and Gordon-MacIntosh
Former Seventy Seven joint-MDs launch new consumer brand agency Hope&Glory

Lansons Communications has backed a new consumer PR agency set up by two former bosses at Seventy Seven PR.
Launched this week, Hope&Glory is the new consumer brand agency set up by Jo Carr and James Gordon-MacIntosh, following their departure from the Fishburn Hedges-owned agency in September.
Hope&Glory has been financially backed by Lansons, with the 20-year old corporate and financial agency taking a 25 per cent stake in the business.
Commenting on the start-up, Carr said that the Lansons backing gave the new venture a ‘flying start’, allowing the agency the ‘resources and ability to recruit of an agency two-years into its development’.
Hope&Glory aims to service clients from across the consumer sectors, including technology, digital brands, retail, food and drink and travel. Gordon-MacIntosh said that the agency plans to have a full-time team of five by February 2011.
The agency will be based out of Lansons London offices and opens its doors with a number of clients, including D&AD, the not-for-profit body that awards the coveted Black and Yellow Pencils for advertising and design and comedy clubs-turned Channel 4 series School of Comedy.
