Amnesty International is launching a 'Write For Rights' campaign in celebration of the organisation's 50th anniversary and to mark International Human Rights Day on 10 December.
Amnesty is encouraging people to write a letter demanding action on one of the ten cases that illustrate the diversity of the charity's work.
Wardour has been appointed by the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to develop the 52-page bi-monthly magazine Heart Matters and to improve its digital presence. Heart Matters, set up in 2008, is the magazine of the free BHF membership programme of the same name. The scheme has more than 300,000 members across the UK.
Vinspired brought in musician Tinchy Stryder to support its National Awards last week, in which he called for greater recognition of the positive contribution of young people. The rapper launched the awards at London-based youth organisation Bigga Fish.
Tesco pharmacy has become the first national pharmaceutical chain to partner with the Alzheimer's Society. The 350 in-store pharmacies will provide support on dementia across the country. The Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer Scotland are Tesco's Charity of the Year 2011.
