Britvic has handed Hill & Knowlton a £250,000 brief covering its soft drink brands, ahead of the 2012 Olympics. The agency is believed to have beaten Freud Communications in a pitch process.

TLG has launched TLGinsights, a research company focusing on corporate reputation. Jon Walsh, former Nestle group marketing director, is setting up the service. The agency has also launched a digital arm, TLGdigital.

AkzoNobel has called in Mischief to handle consumer PR for Dulux, Cuprinol, Polycell and Hammerite. It will also run press office operations.

Everything Everywhere, Britain's largest mobile operator, is proposing to cut 25 to 30 per cent of its comms team as part of a plan to make 550 redundancies.

Quorn Foods has appointed Finn PR as its retained agency after a five-way pitch. The company is preparing for an extensive drive to boost sales in 2012.

Wild Card will handle consumer PR for BPEX for next year's Bacon Connoisseurs' Week.

Tourism New Zealand has re-appointed Fiona Reece PR to handle travel trade and travel consumer media relations. Reece was appointed alongside consumer agency Shine Communications.
