Flack: Flack in Pictures
PR Week UK, Friday, 14 October 2011, 12:00am,
1. Edelman consultants helped promote Starbucks coffee at last week's Conservative Party Conference in Manchester.
Among those making their own brew was London mayor Boris Johnson. Thankfully, Bozza took careful advice from Starbucks' UK coffee 'ambassador' Laurence Winch, before plunging in.
2. Frank's new contact page, on which users are asked whether they fancy a cup of tea or coffee, apparently prompted a handful of thirsty PROs to tweet their love for its quintessentially British approach. Any excuse for a break from work, eh?
3. ENS' lucky pig mascot, Enso, went behind the scenes with England rugby player Simon Shaw before this autumn's World Cup tournament in New Zealand. Alas, the PR agency's 'lucky' mascot brought no luck to the England squad, who were roundly trounced both on the field and in the media. Oops.
