The travel company, which launched the review in July, invited agencies to pitch for the account earlier this week following a series of delays.
The incumbent, Total Media, is re-pitching, alongside Initiative, All Response Media and travel sector specialist Conrad Advertising.
Total Media has worked on the Flight Centre's media business for more than five years.
The review includes work on other Flight Centre Group brands including First and Business Class, Round The World Experts, Corporate Traveller and travel management company FCM, as well as its flagship brand.
The Flight Centre channels most of its media into press activity, with creative and search optimisation both handled in-house. The brand has not previously spent on radio and TV.
