City & Corporate: Clare's vow on Newgate
PR Week UK, Friday, 07 October 2011, 12:00am,
Former Citigate Dewe Rogerson chief executive Jonathan Clare has pledged to build a major new consultancy 'very quickly' after joining forces with fellow Citigate co-founder David Wright.
Clare joined Wright's listed company Porta Communications to become executive chairman of the newly established Newgate Public Relations.
He told PRWeek that he was looking to quickly grow Newgate into a major brand with an international presence, advising chief executives and major firms across financial PR, corporate PR and public affairs.
The agency launched its website last week and Clare said that Newgate had a significant handful of employees already and would be looking to recruit 'top quality people' during the coming weeks.
