Following a competitive pitch process, Redwood’s brief is to support the RICS’ strategy to grow its influence across the construction, facilities and built-asset management, valuation and residential sectors.

The RICS has targeted these sectors as the key growth areas in the UK for chartered surveyors.

RICS UK head of external affairs Stephen Thornton said: ‘Redwood has shown a clear understanding of the need for recognition of standards in today’s marketplace and will work closely with the in-house team on construction, built-asset management, residential and valuation issues.’

The campaign will focus on media relations across all UK media including key social media influencers, along with events PR, crisis management and supporting existing policy and stakeholder engagement work.

This is the first time that the RICS has appointed one comms agency to deliver PR services across all these key sectors.

Redwood beat Camargue and Peak Marketing in the pitch process, which were both formerly retained agencies of the RICS.
