New e-commerce venture: BuyaPowa
BuyaPowa urges shoppers to use their collective buying power to demand the same bulk-buy discounts usually only given to retailers. By bringing together customers into a single transaction, the site aims to offer customers trade discounts.
As well as heading HMV.com, Lask was also formerly senior vice-president of e-commerce at Universal Music Group.
Commenting on the appointment, Bondy Consulting founder Jessica Bondy said: ‘Co-buying is the future of e-commerce and it is great to be involved in something so innovative and game-changing.’
BuyaPowa is launching with a focus on three main product categories, consumer technology, parenting and beauty, but other categories are set to launch later in the year.
