Global PR agency Bulletin International has taken on a deputy
managing director with a specific brief to lead its new business
development team.
Jane Kerr joins from her own agency, Forge PR, to head the division and
join the consultancy's five-strong London management team. Oxford-based
Forge will no longer trade, but at present Kerr could not confirm if
clients would be going with her to Bulletin.
Reporting to managing director Lucy Tilbury, Kerr has an initial remit
to build up offerings in the healthcare and crisis communications/issues
management sectors.
Prior to founding Forge, Kerr worked at Companycare Communications,
where she set up its industry and employee communications division.
She was also the first ever communications manager appointed to an NHS
authority - Berkshire Healthcare Authority - which saw her handling PR
in the aftermath of the Hungerford massacre in the late 1980s.
Previously, she worked as an account director at Burson-Marsteller in
its health and issues division.
Bulletin International currently has offices in London, New York, San
Francisco, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong. It employs 60 staff
worldwide, including 25 in the UK. Clients include Philips, Motorola,
and Rolls Royce.
