Tavistock Communications has hired former financial journalist Simon Fluendy as a consultant.
Fluendy spent ten years at the Mail On Sunday as chief financial reporter before leaving in 2008 to join a boutique corporate intelligence firm in Mayfair. Fluendy has written for the Fast Eastern Economic Review, the South China Morning Post and Electronic Times. At Tavistock he will provide strategic comms advice to clients.
Lansons Communications has promoted four employees to become partners in the business. The four account directors, Laura Moss, Lisa Elliott, Rimmi Shah and Susanna Walker-Robson, join the agency's ownership structure, taking the total number of partners in the business to 32. Lansons has had an LLP structure since its creation in 1989.
Kreab Gavin Anderson has appointed Jonathan Kushner as partner in its Tokyo office. Previously he headed comms and corporate affairs at the Japan and Korea operations of AIG's general insurer Chartis.
Alliance Bernstein, the asset management firm, has signed up Sebastian Kadritzke as associate vice-president of PR, reporting to head of corporate comms Mark Atkinson. He joins from XL Insurance where he was a media relations manager.
