Penney picked to head hsd comms consumer office
Healthcare specialist hsd communications has set up a consumer
healthcare division.
Account director and co-founder Lisa Penney has been promoted to
division director.
Penney said: 'We are adapting to increasing changes in the sector, with
more and more pharmaceutical products available over the counter. It is
also a recognition of the amount of consumer work we have brought in
since we set up.'
Penney heads a team of three and reports to managing director Lesley
Scott.
hsd's roster includes consumer clients Pharmax and Potter's Herbal
Medicines.
Penney will continue to assist the agency's ethical healthcare
division.
hsd launched in 1998, when Scott, Penney and senior account manager
Julie Dean left Holmes Marchant. The agency estimates its turnover for
this year will exceed pounds 1m.
