Flack: Flack in pictures
PR Week UK, Friday, 02 September 2011, 12:00am,
1. Fever PR put on a cushty stunt to promote Only Fools and Horses' 30th anniversary for client UKTV.
The agency reconstructed the iconic Trotter flat in a tower block in Peckham, offering fans the chance to spend a night for just £18. The flat features the iconic 1980s bar, complete with naff cigar jar, where Del Boy served up classic cocktails including Creme de Menthe and Tizer, and Baileys and cherryade. Lovely jubbly.
2. Two lucky ladies from Umpf PR spent a 'gruelling' afternoon in the changing rooms of Super League side Leeds Rhinos.
Louise Woodward and Kate Scoggins spent three hours with the Rhinos' Ryan Hall, who was 'turned inside out' by a champion body painter on behalf of client Engage Mutual. It was all to highlight the injuries most commonly sustained by professional players. Well, he does look in some degree of discomfort here ...
3. Cirkle PR staff held a Grease-themed away day that included Speed Dating, Class of 2011 Yearbooks, Name that Love Song and individual beauty and grooming treatments.
It all went smoothly until imposter Danny and Sandy impersonators turned up in the shape of Liam Gallagher and Peggy Mitchell.
