Lexis CEO Margot Raggett resigns and MD Jason Gallucci takes over

MD Jason Gallucci will step up to the role of CEO and the agency will have a new structure, with a COO just under him in the shape of Lynda Redington. Redington has been promoted from her position as corporate comms and operations director.

Gallucci told PRWeek: 'Margot has resigned from Lexis after taking a three-month sabbatical to reflect on what she wants to do. She wants to start a new chapter and I wish her all the best of luck.’

Up until her sabbatical, Raggett had an international remit working on a study scoping potential avenues for the agency in Asia and also helping the company form a tie-in with New York sister agency M Booth & Associates.

Raggett leaves after 18 years with the agency, having started as its first graduate recruit.

‘Every company needs a fresh injection of energy,’ said Gallucci. ‘People need a new challenge and that’s what’s happened here with Margot.

‘My focus is to bring this agency into the digital revolution now – not in ten years time.’

Lexis chairman Clive Armitage added: ‘We would like to thank Margot for her contribution over the past 18 years and wish her every success in the future.’
