Kaizo has been appointed by GPS-based taxi ordering and dispatch service GetTaxi. The business start-up lets companies order London Black Taxis online through a personalised company web portal and via a mobile app. London Black Taxis plans to install new GPS units into 1,000 cabs this year. The service launches to consumers in September.

InstantLoansDirect.com has hired 10 Yetis to help the new business rival payday loan companies such as Wonga.com. The agency's remit includes the launch of the website and promotion in the personal finance sector and consumer media in print, broadcast and online.

Wincanton Records Management, the document storage company, has called in Voice PR. Voice will help manage the brand's Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages to engage with clients and potential clients and position the company as a thought leader within its industry.

SurveyMonkey has chosen Nelson Bostock as its first UK comms agency. The web-based survey company has charged Nelson Bostock with raising awareness of its services and driving UK usage through campaigns targeting consumers and business users. The agency will also act as a strategic adviser to the US-based brand, offering counsel on local market partnerships.

TechnoPR, a specialist clean technologies PR and marketing comms agency, has been asked to handle media relations for Low Carbon Expo 2011 - the first low carbon exhibition to be held in Wales. The exhibition, taking place at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on 16-17 September, will highlight renewable energy technologies and the latest fuel-saving hybrid and electric vehicles.
