Financial Dynamics chief executive Nick Miles is to head a new global investor relations and corporate communications brand, launched this week by parent company Cordiant Communications Group.
Miles takes on the role of CEO for Cordiant's new standalone division - Business Communications International (BCI) - leaving the day-to-day running of City PR firm Financial Dynamics to the existing board.
In his position at BCI, Miles will be joined on the board by David Walke, MD and co-founder of US IR specialist Morgen-Walke Associates.
BCI has been created to offer CEOs and board directors an international IR and corporate communications service - initially consisting of Financial Dynamics and Morgen-Walke Associates.
Miles said they will be driving forward with an intense global acquisition trail to build up BCI's offering, starting in the US, Asia and across Europe.
'Our strategy is to buy companies and teams of talented people, and to start up companies or build on existing firms,' he said.
'The priority is to communicate this to the financial community and the referrers who can push business our way,' he added.
Miles, who will continue to be based in the UK, said it is undecided whether Financial Dynamics will appoint a new CEO.
