IBM celebrates "100 years of progress" with a full page ad in The Daily Telegraph, The Independent and The Times. The company details its history beginning with meat scales manufacturing to computer technology.

Tesco offers up half-price beef joint for Father’s Day lunch in The Daily Telegraph while in The Independent, the Daily Mirror and The Sun it advertises cards for the occasion.

Sainsbury’s takes out a full page in The Daily Mirror and The Sun to suggest Father’s Day gifts including wine, DVDs and chocolates.

Asda promises "low prices" in the tabloids across a range of grocery products.

M&S takes out a half page in The Daily Telegraph to promote its ongoing "dine in for £10" offer while in the Daily Mail it promotes men’s clothing.

And Debenhams advertises "duty free" prices on fragrances in the Daily Mail.
