PN swoops for Woolfall

Porter Novelli has poached Bell Pottinger crisis comms expert Alex Woolfall to head up its corporate practice across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Woolfall will take up the newly created role of EMEA head of corporate in August, reporting to UK managing director Sally Ward.
He is currently head of issues and crisis management at Bell Pottinger, having joined in 2007. Previously he held senior roles at Weber Shandwick and Hill & Knowlton.
Commenting on the role, Woolfall said: 'Reputation management is everything and clients increasingly want a networked agency that can deliver that seamlessly.'
