YMCA: fitness focus
Based in central London, the not-for-profit organisation, which boasts London’s largest gym and fitness facility, has handed Trinity a brief to launch a national campaign to promote body diversity and body confidence.
The Body Confidence campaign will focus on overcoming ‘image anxiety’ as well as raising awareness of the work of the Central YMCA.
Head of external relations and development at Central YMCA, Duncan Stephenson, said: ‘As a major provider in the health and fitness sector and through our work with young people, we have identified body image anxiety as a particular issue that needs addressing.’
The campaign will initially run for three months and will be officially unveiled in mid-May with the launch of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Body Image.
