INTERNATIONAL: BORDER LINES - Schroeder is H&K chief for Germany
BERLIN: Michael Schroeder has joined Hill & Knowlton as its CEO for Germany. He resigned from his position as ABC chief executive last month (PR Week, 17 November) and joins H&K on 1 January, bringing corporate comms, crisis comms, board level counsel, PA and change management experience. 'This (German) market represents H&K's most important challenge and it is vital that we achieve rapid growth there,' said H&K president Paul Taaffe. Schroeder will work on building H&K's public affairs and corporate comms capabilities in Berlin.
