City & Corporate: Speed's Bishop joins Gardant

Gardant Communications has appointed Speed Communications' board director Nick Bishop as a senior associate in its corporate business.
Bishop led the corporate and brand comms practice at Speed, having advised a number of media and technology clients over the past ten years.
He has handled the Financial Times, the BBC and for the past four years has worked with The Economist to develop the paper's brand comms and social media strategy.
Bishop will work with several of Gardant's corporate clients and will advise across the agency's client base on social media and online comms strategies.
Managing partner Claire Davidson commented: 'The additional expertise in social media will broaden our ability to provide clients with real counsel across all channels.'
