Consolidated in digital win
Matt Cartmell, PR Week UK, Friday, 18 March 2011, 12:00am,
Consolidated PR has been appointed by Digital UK to prepare London for the switchover to digital television.
The agency won the six-figure brief against seven agencies.
Digital UK publicity manager Joe Smithies said Consolidated would handle a number of 'big projects' before the London switch in spring 2012.
The only region still to choose an agency is Northern Ireland, with a pitch process set to begin shortly. Smithies said he expected to have a Belfast agency in place to cover the switch by the summer.
McKenna Townsend was selected earlier this year to handle the switchover in the south east of England.
