Market research firm MORI has won a pitch to set up the framework and carry out preliminary community consultation work for Lancashire County Council as required under Labour’s proposed Best Value legislation. The company is believed to have won over a field of four which included local government specialists Citigate Westminster. MORI’s Ben Page said the win was the most recent of a number of contracts gained by the firm as councils bring policy in line with Best Value.
