Police investigating the Jo Yeates case also launched a Facebook campaign. It is interesting to see social networking being used with a conscience and amazing Serena has been found. 6 January - Barely a day passes by without a direct email or cold call from a social media monitoring vendor. It's a dumb way to sell a sophisticated product to an audience that is readily approachable via social networks. I'm genuinely surprised vendors don't use tools to track conversation and sentiment around a topic and demonstrate their value by sharing insight.
