KPMG Europe appoints its first chief marketing and comms officer

KPMG Europe LLP has appointed Terry Corby as its first chief marketing and comms officer.

Corby will join in a newly created role within KPMG, leading an integrated approach to marketing and brand strategy across its European operating firms.

Corby joins from Accenture, where he was director of marketing and comms in the UK and Ireland. There, he also held global marketing leadership positions in their management consulting, strategy, talent & organisation performance and sustainability practices.

Jeremy Anderson, ELLP head of markets, said: ‘As a senior marketing professional, Terry’s experience and skills will be important in helping raise awareness of KPMG’s brand, insights and capability in a wide range of geographies and sectors - and also among our key stakeholders, including our clients and people.’

Corby commented: ‘I am joining at a time when the firm wants to make a step-change in its approach to marketing and brand awareness and the appointment of a chief marketing officer supports that.  I very much look forward to making sure that marketing does its bit to support our growth agenda.’
